[edit]I have removed the point about asking 'What is cross examination?' Rather than being a sign of his lack of legal knowledge, it was more that there is no history of cross-examination in Continental legal systems- during the Nuremberg Trials the French, German and Soviet participants all struggled the idea. 81.147.166.189 (talk) 20:26, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
Quality Control
[edit]This article is surely a trash. 201.19.209.143 23:48, 1 January 2007 (UTC)
- Hmmm. I see your point, I think. There is not much about the man himself (birthplace, education, etc etc) and it certainly revolves around his participation in Stalin's purges and the Nuremberg Trials. Which are, admittedly, his only claims to fame. If anyone has more personal info, please post! Engr105th (talk) 01:09, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
This article contains a lot of unsourced information, and the unsourced points seem heavily biased against the Nuremberg trials. I hesitate to just remove that material, but it definitely needs a good editor familiar with the subject.
Nationality
[edit]Is he russian? Name is ukrainian.
- If you have a source, making the distinction of Ukrainian vs Russian is fine. But given his high-level in the communist heirarchy, I suspect his nationality is best described as a "Soviet citizen". Engr105th (talk) 01:06, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
The link to the German version is doubled because of the judges template. Get-back-world-respect 13:33, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)
