I've just completed creating a semblance of order among the constituent articles. Very many articles were doubly categorised, or were only categorised in this master category, and not in the appropriate sub-categories. I only exercised my personal judgement on a small number of categorisations, where I concluded that the entry's content either had no relevance, or was mistakenly categorised here instead of at somewhere like Category:Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I hope that other editors will be careful about maintaining the order here. Cheers, TewfikTalk00:54, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose all relating to the Olympics and Paralympics per Palestine at the Olympics. The convention is to use the name used at the Olympics where that differs from the state name - e.g. Great Britain not United Kingdom or Chinese Taipai instead of Taiwan. A little bit higher, I suggested using the terms Palestine Olympic Committee and Palestine Paralympic Committee instead. Do you think that would be appropriate ? I am fine with keeping the most simple name when there is no ambiguity though. Place Clichy (talk) 17:43, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose most of these Palestine ones proceeding speedily. For instance, there is zero justificaiton for renaming Category:Palestine League to Category:Mandatory Palestine League—the league was known as the Palestine League; it is a proper name, not a descriptor. Similarly, the administrators and high commissioners of Palestine did not have titles that included "Mandatory" in their name. Many ambassadors of Palestine formally serve as ambassadors of the State of Palestine, not of the PNA. As the description says, Category:Treaties of Palestine covers treaties of the PNA, the State of Palestine, and the PLO, so a generic name might be best. And so forth. These issues all need to be discussed individually in discussions. Good Ol’factory(talk)21:44, 11 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oppose. The Palestine League wasn't called the Mandatory Palestine League and there isn't another. The High Commissioner of Palestine was called that and there hasn't been any other. None of these, in fact, are uncontroversial, so need to be discussed. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:35, 12 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
