"Paleoconservative" is a derogatory term. As such, its usage is POV. Edit reverted.
- Thanks for discussing your concerns on this page. But "paleoconservative" is no more derogatory than "neo-conservative". It is a term coined by adherents to describe themselves. The John Randolph club is part of the Rockford Institute, who have this quotation on their own page,
- The Rockford Institute [is a] center of paleoconservative endeavor and source of intellectual firepower.... —The Weekly Standard[1]
- So they seem to embrace the term. Therefore, I am going to re-instate the edit. Cheers, -Willmcw 18:03, Apr 11, 2005 (UTC)
The link to "criticism of the Rockford Institute" brings me to a 404 page.
