User talk:Hiwamy
Why did you revert the other editor's posting on Islam? It seems perfectly reasonable. When you do revert other users, please indicate at least in the edit summary, although preferably on the Talk page, as to why you are reverting. Thank you. RickK 02:11, 26 May 2004 (UTC)
- hey Rick, I have asked usedbook to provide sources. Is that a problem? Isn't it helpfull for the wikipedia? So, don't play boss around here. And you should read an article before reverting. The articles I've reverted did not compromise NPOV. Hiwamy 03:09, 26 May 2004 (UTC)
You can't keep deleting other people's contributions because they disagree with your beliefs. RickK 02:46, 26 May 2004 (UTC)
- I didn't delet other people's contribution. Please cite examples of your accusation. I may have edited it and I have every right to do so. And you can't revert my edits cause u disagree with me. Hiwamy 03:01, 26 May 2004 (UTC)
I can revert any changes you make that are in violation of NPOV, and your attempts at asserting your own religion as the only one are definitely in violation. RickK 03:16, 26 May 2004 (UTC)
- Why don't you cite exapmples of statements that is in violation with NPOV. "asserting your own religion as the only one" - Would you plese let me know where? I can also revert any changes you make that are in violation with NPOV. Hiwamy 03:28, 26 May 2004 (UTC)
- Seal of the Prophets, Last Prophet and Islam, for starters. Note that my Talk page is temporarily protected because of an idiot banned user who won't go away. We can talk here. RickK 03:30, 26 May 2004 (UTC)
I see that you've been involved with a few disputes over article content. It's usually the case that asking people to look at the talk page and explaining the reasons for a change will reduce the chance for unnecessary fights. Please consider citing your sources and explaining the reasons for your changes, to better educate others about the reasons why you're preferred version is best. I've no opinion on who is right in your article edits - just letting you know how to improve your success rate. Jamesday 03:35, 26 May 2004 (UTC)
- I wonder what would be your NPOV version of the following article: Muslims believe that Muhammad was the last Prophet and Messenger of the monotheistic Abrahamic tradition, and that the Quran is the last revelation of God. Muslims also believe that after Quran and Muhammad, there will be no guidance from God. In the Quran, Muhammad is referred to as the "Seal of the Prophets" or the "last Prophet".
- Followers of Mani (founder of the Persian faith Manichaeism) believe that these titles (the Seal of the Prophets and the Last Prophet) are attributed to Mani who, his followers claim, came before Muhammad.
- I've bolded the statements that makes it NPOV. Now tell me how it compromises NPOV. If you are so much concerned with NPOV then why are you reverting to usedbook's version? I have asked him to cite sources of his claim and he didn't do so. Hiwamy 03:45, 26 May 2004 (UTC)
Jamesday, thanks for your advice. I will be "explaining the reasons for changes". Hiwamy 04:55, 26 May 2004 (UTC)
