[edit]

Hi, I live in New Zealand, and would like to know why you chose your name, and would like to retire here in my country. If you ever come to live or visit, i'd be happy to show you around. --Dafing 00:34, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I saw that you uploaded basaev.jpg on the Russian wikipedia. Could you give me a source for that? As I would like to use it on the Dutch wikipedia too.--Hardscarf 20:00, 30 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Could you give me a reason why it would be PD if it is on one of these websites? Do they provide this image for free? As I read: Copyright © 2005 Grani.ru and ©1999-2002 "PRAVDA.Ru". Hovever on pravda.ru I do read 'When reproducing our materials in whole or in part, reference to PRAVDA.Ru should be made.' Perhaps this could be regarded as Fair-use, but not PD, I suspect. But if Russian legislation (or chechen separationists/wahabist regulations ;)) provide options to regard it as PD then please give me a written mention/licence template/proof of this, otherwise the dutch wikipedia won't accept it.--Hardscarf 09:26, 4 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I see that you edit Russia-related topics. Come check Portal:Russia/New article announcements and Portal:Russia/Russia-related Wikipedia notice board. You may even want to add these boards to your watchlist. Cheers, Ghirla -трёп- 10:35, 26 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Auschwitz

[edit]

Hi there; thank you for your absolutely correct edit on this aricle. I do note that you had to take two bites at it. If, in your edit summary, when you insert the phrase "rv" , it is helpful if you say to which prior edit you are reverting. In this case it was maine, which is clean. Sometimes, as in this article, multiple vandals attack concurrently, and it is important to ensure that all attacks, not just some, are reverted. Indicating which article you have gone back to helps future editors to keep the article vanda-free. Happy wikying.--Anthony.bradbury 20:25, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Putin

[edit]

No problem. Although I should note I am not a fan of Putin either.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 01:03, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
