Proposals here are contingent on the passing of Wikipedia:Arbitration policy/Proposed amendment revote's Amendment E1.
This page shall be used to house proposed amendments to the arbitration policy. They are subject to the rules set out in the amendment section thereof.

Discussion
[edit]These proposals are being written and discussed. Input is welcome during this stage.
- /Evidence scope - regarding what evidence sources are appropriate for supporting a claim.
- /Deferring matters - regarding what should the committee do if it the matter is outside their jurisidiction.
- /Official mailing list - regarding whether the committee should have jurisdiction over the mailing list.
- /Removing legalese - to remove legalese from the Arbitration policy (but not to change the policy substantively).
- /Removing references to individual Wikipedians - to tidy up the policy by removing references to a couple of Wikipedians.
