Pauper magic was proposed for deletion. This page is an archive of the discussion about the proposed deletion. This page is no longer live. Further comments should be made on the article's talk page rather than here so that this page is preserved as an historic record. No clear consensus emerged.
This article is for a very minor and unofficial online variant of Magic: The Gathering which, in fact, is not even popular enough to warrant mentioning in the main Magic article. Vote to delete, and not merge into the main article (which is already very large). Andrew Levine 02:38, 3 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Rename and retain as redirect - This is type of play is known more commonly as "Peasant Magic". -- Netoholic @ 18:55, 2004 Oct 3 (UTC)
- Mergeand redirect into Magic:_The_Gathering#Variant_rules. Even though the article is vary large, the variants could easily be split off into a separate article if needed. --Rossumcapek 19:33, 3 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Do not redirect -- not notable enough. --Improv 21:28, 4 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. No redirect. Non-notable fan-cruft. jni 09:31, 5 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Retain and redirect to prevent re-creation. It's popular enough that I've heard of it (as Peasant Magic). The content should be boiled to a three-line synopsis, and the redirect point to variants under the main article. Cool Hand Luke 07:29, 6 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Move content to talk page of "Magic: The Gathering" and let them decide whether to include it. In its current form - delete [[User:MacGyverMagic|Mgm|(talk)]] 07:46, Oct 6, 2004 (UTC)
- Merge - There are six variant types on the Magic page. If each of these were expanded to the same length as the Pauper Magic (which should be easy, if it's true that Pauper Magic is comparatively minor), then there'd be enough information to make a very respectable article on Magic variants. We already have chess variants, why not make a similar separate page for this? Factitious 05:51, Oct 8, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: Just a variant of a game, and it's all online. Ick. Too minor, not notable, not to be sought. Geogre 13:42, 8 Oct 2004 (UTC)
