Translation details
[edit]- Article: de:Günter Wallraff
- Corresponding English-language article: Günter Wallraff
- Worth doing because: English article is a near-stub, German has more material
- Originally requested by: Ellsworth 19:15, 1 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Status: expanded existing Eng. article - Valiantis 18:58, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Other notes:
As per the request at Wikipedia:Translation into English, I've translated the German language article on Wallraff. The English language article contains material that wasn't in the German version so I've preserved this as well. Valiantis 18:45, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- PS. I didn't add the extensive bibliography. Valiantis 19:00, 10 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Perhaps this should be done once more. The English article is now far less extensive (and well-written; in some sections it seems almost entirely critical of Herr Wallraff) than its German and even Swedish counterparts. Forgive my laziness and possible misposting. Pueben (talk) 13:19, 1 February 2011 (UTC)

"Editor" at Bild
[edit]Wallraff wasn't an "editor" at Bild, he was a reporter/writer. Obvious to anyone who has read his book. "Editor" is a mistranslation of "Redakteur", which has several meanings, one of which is "reporter". 2A02:AA1:104C:E13C:6D45:5852:BAAB:E540 (talk) 20:30, 30 August 2024 (UTC)
